Prospective Postdoctoral Fellow

If you are interested in postdoc opportunities in the Castillo Lab you are encouraged to contact Dr. Castillo to discuss your research ideas and funding opportunities that are available at Carolina and from external sources. You should also communicate with current and past postdocs about their experiences in the Castillo Lab, the Marine Sciences Department, the Environment, Ecology and Energy Program and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prospective Graduate Students

Prospective graduate students should email Dr. Castillo to discuss their research interests and to explore funding opportunities. Prospective graduate students can apply to the Castillo Lab either through the Marine Sciences Department or through the Environment, Ecology, and Energy Program.

Prospective Undergraduate Researchers

Prospective undergraduate researchers should email Dr. Castillo to discuss their interest in research underway in the Castillo Lab. Undergraduate students can volunteer, register for MASC 395 or BIOL 395, or explore a range of other options available to work in labs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
